Commercial Swing Connectors and Fasteners

Swing fasteners and connectors have 2 uses: they attach swingseats to swing chains, and they attach the top of swing chains to swing hangers on the structure. We sell 3 types of commercial connectors and fasteners: H-Shackles, Clevises, and S-Hooks. We recommend H-Shackles or Clevises, which open with a special, inexpensive Allen Wrench tool (sold here). S-Hooks, on the other hand, require a pair of expensive S-Hook Pliers. In summary:

• The H-Shackle opens on both ends. To open and close it, you need the Allen wrench.
• The Clevis opens on one end. To open and close it, you need the Allen wrench.
• The S-Hooks open on both ends, but to open and close them, you need S-Hook Plyers, which may prove costly for some customers.
